The Redgum Track, officially known as the Hamilton-Coleraine Rail Reserve, is a 37-kilometre public walking and cycling trail situated in western Victoria, approximately 330 km from Melbourne. This conservation reserve follows the path of a former railway line that operated from 1888 until its closure in 1977. The trail features historical infrastructure, including 15 bridges and significant earthworks, and traverses diverse landscapes rich in native flora and fauna.
The entire 37km of the trail is a freely accessible (Public) walking & cycling Conservation Reserve. All native Fauna & Flora is protected and to be respected, so, NO hunting! and please refrain from picking wildflowers. No motorised access is permitted unless by prior consent (e.g. Wheelchairs).
