The Ultra4 racing series challenges drivers to compete on a wide variety of terrain, from endurance desert racing to competition-style rock crawls to short course racing. Currently, ULTRA4 has 8 races in the US, 4 races in Europe, 1 race in Australia, and an exhibition in China.
Each of the ULTRA4 races is a qualifier for the King of the Hammers race, which is arguably the most gruelling off road race on the planet, King of the Hammers, is a brutal concoction of desert racing, rock crawling and high horsepower 4WD machines.
The extreme racing conditions of King of the Hammers has driven ARB product development. Due to the abuse that an ARB Air Locker endures during race conditions, engineers have made continuous improvements over the years. Such developments include heat-treating processes, forged internal gears, and a new-wave spring for faster disengagement.
